Reporting an error on Google Maps

The City has reported to Google Maps that there is no access to Cariboo Road from Surrey Street. However, we believe the Google Maps tool continues to direct traffic along this route.

Local residents are encouraged to also report the error to Google. Instructions from Google are below:

Tell us about an error

  1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
  2. In the top left, click Menu Send feedback.
  3. In the window that pops up, choose the feedback you would like to give.
  4. Follow the instructions
  5. Click Submit.

Tip: We review your reports, so your changes sometimes take time to be updated on the map.
