The City of New Westminster is in the process of completing its draft 2021-2025 Financial Plan. As part of the public consultation process, a budget information package, including the draft 2021-2025 Financial Plan, is available here for review (you can also find the report in the Documents menu on the right-hand side of this page, or below for mobile users). Members of the public are invited to review and provide written comments on the Financial Plan.

The draft Financial Plan will be presented to Council for three readings and adoption at a Special Regular Council meeting on February 22, 2021 at 5:00 pm.

OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD

There are multiple ways to provide your input on the plan:

  1. Provide your comments on this page - scroll down and click on the "Comments" tab. Please note: you need to be a registered user and signed in to provide comments through this platform.
  2. Provide your comments by email to: nwfinance@newwestcity.ca
  3. Provide written comments by dropping off at the mailbox on the north side of City Hall, attention CFO/Director of Finance, or by post: Attn: CFO/Director of Finance, City of New Westminster, 511 Royal Avenue, New Westminster, BC, V3L 1H9
  4. Call 604-527-4523 for an appointment to record a short video to share with Council and on the City’s website.
  5. Speak at the Feb. 22 meeting by computer, smart device or phone via Zoom. Click here for more information, and email clerks@newwestcity.ca to register to speak.
