The City of New Westminster is developing a Master Plan to guide the future of Grimston Park, located on the south slopes of the West End neighbourhood. The Master Plan will serve as a roadmap for the park’s improvements, future amenities, and long-term management over the next 20+ years. The Grimston Park Master Plan will focus on:
- Park Improvements - Evaluating existing features -- such as the playground, water play feature, and sport courts and playing fields -- to identify opportunities to renew, remove or replace them to better meet community needs.
- Future Amenities - Identifying new opportunities for recreational activities and community spaces.
- Long-term Management - Ensuring the park’s footprint is used efficiently to accommodate more people as the neighbourhood grows, while keeping it well-maintained and inviting.
We want to hear your thoughts on the proposed changes to the park’s layout and amenities, as well as new features we could add to the park!
