Play space for families and preservation of court/field

Would love to see a small playground or play space on either side. There are a lot of young families in the area that use the park, and it’s the one thing that’s missing. I also think it’d preserve the court and field health a bit as that’s where families tend to go in the absence of a playground.

Improve the swings in Toronto Place Park into a full playground! With a fence (or natural barrier) around it to prevent bigger small kids from running away into the busy road!

And where will the elementary children play? It would be nice if teachers had another place to take their classes, other than the synthetic playgrounds being built with the new school.

I completely agree. The nearest play spaces for small children are Moody Park or the quay. We need something in easier walking distance and fenced in from major street traffic. I've never taken my child to the swings at Toronto Place Park because of the risk of them running off onto Royal or 8th.
