Either fencing, shrubs/bushes/trees or a combination, especially where the parks border Royal Ave would help create a sense of peacefulness and safety.

Agree strongly with the need for some sound dampening vegetation…maybe even a berm is needed. There is a cacophony of sound with diesel truck traffic driving by, the clanging metal and drilling from construction, and school loud speakers.

This is critical to a functioning park.

This was my biggest ask for Toronto Place Park. The traffic sounds make it hard to want to spend any time there.

I would like to see medians on Queens Avenue between 10th and 8th streets wih trees and plants on them. This would provide green space between the schools and residents, creating a visual barrier and improving air quality. This would also slow traffic, eliminate people doing uturns, and create a park boulevard. More resident permit only and short term parking (2 to 3 hours) is also needed.
