Thank you for your interest in New Westminster’s Community Advisory Assembly. This group’s role is to discuss and provide advice and recommendations to the City on Council’s Strategic Priorities, as well as other important City projects, initiatives, and policies. The Assembly focuses on projects that are expected to directly affect the day-to-day lives of New Westminster residents. In the past, the Assembly has discussed topics including climate change, transportation, public spaces, libraries, and equity and inclusion. Assembly members will have an opportunity to suggest and choose topics for discussion, in addition to discussing topics proposed by the City.
Eligibility

Membership of the Assembly will mirror the diversity of our city, as well as a diversity of lived experiences. You don’t need to be a Canadian citizen, and there is no cost to participate.
